Who’s DigBoy?

I’ve been developing in .NET since 2005 and have been a Microsoft MVP for Visual Basic since 2010. I’ve long been enamored by application design, coding algorithms and object-oriented design principles. These are the things that keep me happy in my career as a developer. The pseudonom DigBoy comes from my other passion in life, archaeology, which I’ve been doing professionally and avocationally since 1992. I’m also an avid flintknapper (experimental working of stone tools) and master stone artisan. Coding was my escape from breaking my back digging holes or lifting stones all day. I guess it was an even trade for gaining 20 pounds from sitting in a chair all day and battling arthritis as a mouse jockey :/

I just read your amazing blog. Although now it’s short, my sense is that it will not remain so.

Digboy, I’ve been fostering a group that wants to go further with their own knowledge and just be the best they can be. Obviously you would fit into that group well. Let me know if you are interested.

Thanks Renee. I’m not sure about “amazing”… just a few topics I felt deserving of being written out rather than being lost in fragments on the forums. I’ll contact you about the group soon.
